St Ives BID squeaks home with 55% of businesses voting yes.

It has been confirmed that the St Ives BID has been voted in. 55% of voters voted YES (53% by rateable value).  

The BID has attracted controversy in St Ives with the Town Council (a rate payer in the BID area) abstaining from the vote after a poorly attended Town Council meeting on 11 March 2014
